Seagate’s partner programs play a key role by developing incentives around specific sales initiatives and acquiring new customers. It leverages several programs that have been created to accommodate the specific needs of different channel companies.
Seagate aims to support its partners in maximizing their results by offering the most optimal storage solutions and services. It has developed the award-winning Seagate SkyHawk Partner App, a first-of-its-kind solution for video and imaging applications that supports its partner community across the Indian market. It helps partners with calculating the storage needs and investment required on the spot and assists with online warranty service booking, tracking facilities, and instant connectivity to SeaCare centres. As of the last quarter, its app has received over 36,000 downloads and more than 15,000 registrations in India. With the success of the Skyhawk Partner app in India, the company has also expanded it to over 10 other countries, including Philippines, United Kingdom, Ireland, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and more, to support more local partners in the market.
In addition to this, Seagate also has the Seagate Insider partner program to connect with customers and partners in the markets. It continues to conduct comprehensive training sessions, seminars, and co-marketing initiatives to answer any new opportunities. It is through its distributors that Seagate conducts several training programs for its channel partners to achieve the set targets, which go streamlined with the latest IT industry trends and channel practices in India. Seagate also organises activities for its partners to address the right audience and customers.
Some of its unique programs are “Seagate Regional Meets” and “Seagate Surveillance Weeks”. ‘SkyHawk Surveillance week’ is one of Seagate’s unique initiatives and is conducted in multiple cities to attract a large number of partners (at least 340 partner stores) with exceptional peer insights and expertise in business strategy, innovation, and leadership.
