Sennheiser has launched the Profile Wireless, a two-channel 2.4 GHz wireless microphone system designed to offer creators, videographers, and content producers a seamless, high-quality audio solution. The system is compatible with mobile phones, cameras, and computers, and can be used in various configurations – as a clip-on mic, handheld mic, or table-top microphone, adapting to any situation.
The Profile Wireless comes equipped with everything needed to capture professional-grade audio with ease. It includes a multifunctional charging bar that not only stores and charges the system’s components but also serves as a handheld or desktop microphone. The charging bar holds a two-channel mini-receiver with an OLED touch display, two pre-paired clip-on microphones, magnetic clips for attaching the mics to clothing, and adaptors for connecting the receiver to mobile phones or camera mounts.

With a wireless range of up to 245 meters, the system ensures clear audio even at long distances. Each clip-on microphone is equipped with 16GB of onboard memory, allowing up to 30 hours of audio recording at 24-bit/48kHz resolution. The Profile Wireless also includes advanced safety features to safeguard against audio loss. The Backup Recording Mode automatically activates internal recording when the wireless signal weakens, while the Safety Channel Mode records audio at a lower volume to prevent clipping. By recording at two different levels, it reduces the risk of audio distortion while maximizing dynamic range.
Designed for flexibility and convenience, the Profile Wireless offers over 15 hours of runtime and can be used while recharging. With features like an auto-rotating receiver display, no app requirement, and versatile mounting options, it provides an efficient and smooth workflow for content creators. Additionally, the thread mounts on the components ensure compatibility with a variety of setups, making it an ideal choice for seamless audio recording.
The Profile Wireless will be available in Q1 of 2024 at a retail price of Rs 29,900.
