Intending to capitalize the country's booming Call Centre industry, Servion Global Solutions has announced its plans to open a subsidiary in Thailand in January 2013.
Â
Servion’s latest move is aimed at establishing a business presence amid high demand for Call Centre technologies in the Thai market on the back of growing popularity of mobile devices and high internet penetration. The changes in consumer behavior in terms of mobile devices are prompting more and more organizations to upgrade their existing conventional Call Centers to new-generation facilities.
Â
Speaking on the occasion, Abhijit Banerjee, Vice President - Asia Pacific Operations, Servion Global Solutions said, “There has been a huge change in consumers’ interaction with brands over the last few years. Companies today are grappling with managing constantly changing expectations and operating numerous touch points created to connect with consumers, be it over the internet, via telephony, on ground or other ways. With the contact landscape changing dramatically and frequently, it is extremely difficult to stay ahead of the curve and not lose focus of the core business. With the office in Thailand, we will help organizations do exactly that – stay focused on their core business; while we take over management of customer interaction processes and add dimensions to cater to the changing landscape.”
Â
 K. Balakrishnan, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer at Servion Global Solutions has also shared his views. He said, “As a specialist in the CIM industry, Servion’s solutions today handle over 7 billion multimedia interactions every year. Our consultative approach allows us to design each of these solutions in line with brand promise, business objectives, regional market and consumer requirements.”
Â
“Servion already has several customers in Thailand.  With the establishment of a fully owned subsidiary, Servion is increasing its commitment and its ability to serve / support customers better,” he added.
