Snaptracs, a Qualcomm company has recently upgraded Tagg - The Pet Tracker with new activity tracking feature that provides owners with information to help them proactively manage their pets’ health and exercise and be even more connected with their pets.

The company also detailed that this new functionality will be available in October at no additional cost to Tagg users.Â

The company further revealed that In addition to activity tracking, Tagg also monitors a pet’s location, alerting pet owners by text and email if the pet becomes lost or wanders away and can track the pet’s location via the GPS and wireless technology embedded in the Tagg device.Â
