In another case of manufacturing flaw, Sony Corp has stopped the sales of its Xperia tablets. Within a month of its sales, the company learnt that there were gaps between the screen and the case that can make it susceptible to water damage. The tablet claimed to be water resistant was manufactured defectively at the Chinese plant where it is fabricated.
Sony had began selling its latest Android tablet in the first week of September in the US followed by Japan, Europe etc. Till date it has already shipped around 100,000 devices.
The company said it will fix any of the tablets sold.
