Sophos announces re-launch of SophosLabs
2017-12-07
Sophos has re-launched SophosLabs, its global network of security researchers and analysts who monitor and analyze the latest cyber-threats. Deep learning and machine learning technology from Sophos’ acquisition of Invincea earlier this year will now be part of SophosLabs’ research and analysis tools, for faster and more comprehensive threat coverage and Intel.
As per the company, other features of the re-launch include:
* A dedicated SophosLabs homepage that will serve as a central repository for Labs research, articles, whitepapers, threat bulletins, video presentations from researchers, and malware statistics
* A daily, real-time snapshot of global malware and spam activity
* A new Twitter stream where researchers will more rapidly share details on attacks and outbreaks as they happen
* An ‘AI Challenge’ game where visitors can test their skills against an AI machine. Players are presented with ten URLs and challenged to decide whether they are malicious or benign
* Access to the Sophos Community Forum where visitors can share questions, answers, advice and comments about the latest threats
