SunGard unveils its RaaS in India

SunGard Availability Services, the pioneer and leading provider of information availability, recovery and business continuity services has announced the expansion of its Recovery-as-a-Service (RaaS) offering into the Indian marketplace.

This builds upon the company’s launch within India in 2011, since when it has been serving its global customers’ India operations. With the newly launched RaaS, SunGard will be able to offer India’s medium and large enterprises SLA-driven recovery timeframes for their mission critical IT operations, on an affordable pay-as-you-go service model.

SunGard Availability Services brings a legacy of providing solutions centered on data resilience and recovery for over 30 years. Currently, half of Fortune 500 companies and over two thirds of Fortune 100 companies engage with SunGard to keep their mission critical people, process and technology environments up and running at all times.
