Tata Teleservices and Acer Launches Aspire One

Tata Teleservices and Acer India have launched Aspire One AOD 260, embedded with Tata Photon Plus. Aspire One will offer high-speed Internet access for connectivity on the go, at a speed of up to 3.1 Mbps.

Tata Teleservices also announced a strategic alliance with Acer India, wherein the new Aspire One would be made available at all TTSL retail outlets in Mumbai and Delhi, in the first phase of launch.

"Partnering with Acer India enables us to provide customers with a compelling proposition of accessing the Internet at blazing speeds on the Photon Plus platform, making for a new and invigorating computing experience on the feature rich Aspire One," said, Lloyd Mathias, President, Corporate Monitoring Group, Tata Teleservices.

Designed for all-day mobility and connectivity, the Acer Aspire One AOD 260 Netbook will leverage the capabilities of HSIA technology on TTSL's CDMA network and provide users with broadband connectivity, enabling them to access advanced data applications and services on the move. As an introductory offer customers will get free 5 GB data access per month for the first two months.
