TCS has become the first global systems integrator partner for Mistral Forge, enabling enterprises to build advanced AI models using proprietary data and domain expertise to drive secure, scalable and industry-specific AI adoption worldwide.
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a global leader in IT services, consulting and business solutions, has announced a strategic partnership with Mistral, one of the world’s leading artificial intelligence companies. Under this collaboration, TCS becomes the first global systems integrator partner for Mistral Forge, an advanced enterprise AI system designed to build frontier-grade models using proprietary enterprise data and domain expertise.
The partnership aims to combine Mistral’s cutting-edge AI capabilities with TCS’ deep understanding of global enterprise needs, industry knowledge, and engineering strength. Together, the companies will help organisations scale artificial intelligence adoption in a responsible, faster and more secure manner.
Focus on industry-specific AI solutions
As part of the agreement, TCS will use Mistral Forge to design and deploy customised AI models for enterprise clients. These models will leverage organisational data and context to improve decision-making and operational efficiency across businesses.
The collaboration will be supported by TCS’ global presence across North America, Europe, the United Kingdom, and Asia-Pacific, enabling tailored AI solutions aligned with regional industry requirements and regulatory frameworks.
Initial focus areas include banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI), manufacturing, healthcare, and the public sector, where demand for trustworthy and compliant AI systems is rapidly increasing.
Centre of Excellence to drive innovation
TCS will also establish a dedicated Centre of Excellence for Mistral, aimed at fostering joint innovation and accelerating enterprise adoption of AI technologies. The centre will focus on developing industry-specific solutions, supporting project execution, and enabling early access to Mistral’s beta models.
It will also serve as a hub for training specialised talent and strengthening capabilities in designing, deploying, and governing enterprise AI systems at scale.
Arthur Mensch, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Mistral, highlighted the importance of the collaboration. “TCS’ global scale and contextual industry knowledge make them an ideal partner for Mistral. Together, we are enabling enterprises worldwide to move from experimentation to AI deployment with systems that are open, production-ready and aligned with their strategic and operational requirements.”
K Krithivasan, Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director at TCS, also emphasised the strategic value of the partnership. “The partnership with Mistral reinforces TCS’ commitment to scaling enterprise AI with trust, control, and measurable business outcomes at the core. This partnership expands TCS’ AI ecosystem, uniquely positioning TCS to create a differentiated solution proposition for our clients. Together with Mistral, we will solve for specific industry challenges, regulatory requirements, and sovereign needs for our enterprise customers.”
Advancing TCS’ AI-led transformation strategy
The collaboration aligns with TCS’ broader “Infrastructure to Intelligence” strategy, which focuses on investments across infrastructure, AI models, data systems, application platforms, and both physical and digital intelligence layers.
Through this approach, TCS aims to strengthen its position as a leading AI-driven technology services provider. The company’s long-term vision is to embed artificial intelligence across enterprise operations, scale AI-powered delivery models, and generate measurable business outcomes for clients across industries.
The partnership with Mistral marks a significant step in accelerating enterprise-grade AI adoption at a global scale.
