Telit implants its MRM Technology in Elster Energy ICT Module

Wireless module GL865-DUAL GSM/GPRS dual-band 900/1800 in LCC-castellation packaging will be  integrated into Elster Energy ICT’s AM110-R Communication Module as per an announcement made by Telit Wireless Solutions.
 
As an integral part of Elster's advanced metering infrastructure solution, the AS300 offers utilities the ability to manage data from smart electricity, gas and water meters. It offers a modular solution for wide area network (WAN)/local area network (LAN) and home area network (HAN) communication infrastructures. This modular design allows utilities the flexibility to quickly and easily exchange communications technologies throughout the life of the meter to future proof their investment as technology and regulatory requirements evolve.
 
As per the company, GL865-DUAL variant is the ideal module for mobile applications from low to high-volume across all industries.
