Teradata offers Hadoop Portfolio built on Hortonworks Platform
To deploy and manage the Apache Hadoop, Teradata has introduced the release of Teradata Portfolio for Hadoop which is designed to offer customers with new flexible Hadoop-based product platforms, software, consulting services, training, and customer support. This release will also lead towards the easy integration of Hadoop into modern enterprise data architectures.
The Teradata Appliance for Hadoop coming under the Hadoop portfolio, has enhanced reliability with its customer service and vital infrastructure, which proactively detects and addresses 70 per cent of any system failures to keep customers productive. The new Teradata Appliance for Hadoop provides a tightly integrated hardware and software appliance optimized for enterprise-class data storage and management.
The Teradata portfolio for Hadoop includes a variety of implementations that provide organization with real choices depending on the level of enterprise expertise and budgetary constraints. Teradata offers the flexibility to seamlessly move Hadoop projects from development to production, because of the common Hortonworks Data Platform throughout the portfolio.
