Reiterating its focus on the Indian market, Toshiba India has announced the appointment of Sanjay Warke as the Country Head for DS Division at Toshiba India. Warke has assumed responsibilities with effect from this year for developing, driving and implementing business strategies and solutions for Toshiba India DS division to maximize the Company’s business growth.

Warke, who is a postgraduate in business management from IIM Bangalore, will be based in New Delhi and operate out of Toshiba India’s head office in Gurgaon. Warke succeeds Tengguo Wu, who is moving from India to Singapore, to take on a significant role in the Group’s Singapore operations. Prior to joining Toshiba India, Warke spent around 2 decades with many successful companies. In his last role, he led the operations for Vodafone in the eastern circle in India.
