Trend Micro has unveiled the latest version of its flagship consumer products: Trend Micro Internet Security and Trend Micro Internet Security Pro. Optimized for Microsoft Windows 7, the products are lighter and faster with a 20% reduction in installed file size and scan time than the previous versions.

The Trend Micro Internet Security 2010 suite provides easy, fast and smart solutions. The Home Network Security Management allows customers to see and remotely manage computers in their home network as well as monitor activities in their home computers through streamlined easy to understand graphs and charts. It also protects smartphones against viruses, SMS text message spam and other malware attacks on Microsoft Windows Mobile and Symbian OS-based devices.
Trend Micro, through its multi-device “security blanket” strategy for the home, has also extended its protection to Netbooks, USB drives, Sony PlayStation and Sony Portable, Linksys by Cisco routers and Apple iPhone.
