Zen Mobile rolls 3G enabled phone
Zen Mobile has rolled out A-60 3G capable handset. The A-60 is introduced in black and white colour combination that features a 2.4-inch QVGA TFT screen. One can use a 2G card along with a 3G one Apart from being 3G capable as this handset has Dual-SIM capabilities.
A-60 has GPS support, digital compass and maps assistance. The battery bundled up with this handset is a 1000 mAh that offers a stand-by time up to 150 hours and talk time up to 4 hours on 3G networks. The A-60 mobile handset is priced at Rs. 3,249 - Zen Mobile claims that this is the cheapest 3G mobile available in the market.
Deepesh Gupta, MD, Zen Mobile, said, "It's a great accomplishment for the company to enter into the new segment by launching its first 3G phone, the A-60 which is an inexpensive service for the consumers. We firmly believe that 3G technologies and future enhancements will offer the most expeditious and cost effective means of providing mobile internet access to the mass market."
