Zenith IT Group is partnering with the District Election Officer’s Voter ID Campaign to promote their website www.mumbaicityelection.org, hence providing the government with much needed technology support.

Gone are the days when the common man had to wait for months to get a voter card in order to exercise their right to franchise. The Mumbai Government DEO has launched this latest campaign, the ‘Voter ID Campaign’, where one can get a voter ID card in 7 days. Adding to this is the simple process where a voter can log on to mumbaicityelection.org, search for their name, upload a recent picture and submit. Starting then, it takes less than a week for the Voter ID Card to be available.
Speaking about this initiative, Devita Saraf, Executive Director, Zenith Computers said, “It is absolutely essential in today’s day and age to have a synergy between the government, the education sector and businesses. Overwhelmed and encouraged by the youth’s response we at Zenith feel privileged to provide such a platform where technology can help meet such a fundamental need. For a very connected generation of India, Zenith is looking at programs like these to bridge the knowledge gap”.

Kiosks have been set up at over 30 colleges and adding more, all over Mumbai to enable students log in with Zenith Computers at the spot and get a voters ID in absolutely in no time. Overwhelmed at the favourable response that it is getting from the student fraternity, Zenith has doubled its effort lately by moving to Siddhivinayak Temple, malls and other public locations to help maximum people benefit from this campaign.
