ZTE has announced that the ZTE Zing series, which includes the ZTE Blade Q Mini, has been honoured with the 2014 iF International Design Award. With a product design focussed on an eastern philosophy of harmony, elegance and calm, the ZTE Zing series stood out from the 4,615 products from 55 countries entered to be recognized with the award from 49 international design experts. Receiving such a highly regarded award highlights the emphasis that ZTE puts on product design and this year’s award follows on from the ZTE Grand S’s iF International Design Award in 2013.
Hagen Fendler, Global Chief Design Director, ZTE, commented, “With the ZTE Zing series, we have brought together the latest technologies in a clear design, inspired by our oriental heritage, to make the products easy and beautiful for people to touch and use. We are delighted that our elegant and harmonious approach has been recognized with the 2014 iF International Design Award.”
The ZTE Blade Q Mini recently went on sale in the UK with Virgin Media and is sold at major retail outlets, including Argos and Sainsbury’s.
