
MyOperator, a cloud-based telephone system startup, has taken over cloud communications firm, Ziffy. This takeover is aimed to serve Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs) in tier-2 and tier-3 cities in India.
As per the company, this acquisition will help MyOperator to enter Indian markets with access to more than 3,500 clients in tier-2 and tier-3 cities.
The details of the transaction were not disclosed.
MyOperator said it has witnessed strong growth due to SMB digitization and more businesses shifting towards a remote/hybrid working setup amid the pandemic.
“This acquisition is a well-evaluated move that will lend us a competitive advantage in our target regions, where Ziffy has an extensive market presence and customer base,” said Ankit Jain, CEO & Co-Founder, MyOperator.
MyOperator has clients like LensKart, Razorpay, ITC, Apollo, and others.

Lucknow-based Ziffy offers Interactive Voice Response (IVR) and automated welcome messages to two-way SMS and call recording.
