Sony has surpassed the target set by itself in September last year when it recently announced that it has sold more than six million units of its PlayStation 4 game console across the world till March 2.
The Japanese electronics giant has sold 370,000 units in its home country of Japan.
The video game console hit the market in the US, Western Europe and Latin America on November 22 while it was released on February 22 in Japan.
