New Direct Cool refrigerators and Nilgiree NXT inverter ACs aim to deliver reliable cooling even in extreme heat conditions up to 55°C, targeting affordable comfort for Indian households across price segments.
AKAI India has announced the full market availability of its 2026 Summer Collection, featuring its new Direct Cool Refrigerator range and the NXT version of Nilgiree Air Conditioners. The products are designed under the brand’s “Har Ghar Zero Summer” promise, aiming to make cooling solutions accessible for every Indian family.
The company said its new air conditioner range is engineered to operate efficiently even when outdoor temperatures rise up to 55°C, addressing the growing intensity of heatwaves across India.
Refrigerators and ACs designed for performance and efficiency
The new refrigerator range uses Deep Direct Cool technology and offers wide voltage compatibility for unstable power conditions. It also uses R600a refrigerant with zero ozone depletion potential. The lineup ranges from 48-litre compact models to 230-litre variants, with features such as soft crisper, brush finish design, and up to 10-year warranty.
The Nilgiree NXT inverter AC series comes in 1-ton and 1.5-ton capacities with 3-star to 5-star ratings. It includes 100% copper condensers, frost self-clean technology, and multiple convertible cooling modes designed for consistent performance in extreme heat conditions.

AKAI India products are available both online and offline. Refrigerators start at ₹16,398, while air conditioners start at ₹31,490, with no-cost EMI options offered for buyers.
