Airtel Cloud, hosted on sustainable data centers and backed by 300 experts, offers Gen-AI provisioning, IaaS, PaaS, and advanced connectivity with full data sovereignty, while Xtelify’s AI platform empowers global telcos across operations and customer experience
Xtelify, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bharti Airtel, has announced the launch of ‘Airtel Cloud’, a sovereign, telco-grade cloud platform designed to power 140 crore transactions per minute. Originally developed to support Airtel’s digital operations in India, this robust and scalable platform is now being offered to Indian enterprises seeking secure, high-performance cloud infrastructure.
Hosted on next-generation sustainable data centres and managed by 300 certified cloud professionals, Airtel Cloud combines Gen-AI-based provisioning with infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS), platform-as-a-service (PaaS), and advanced connectivity. The cloud platform ensures secure migration, seamless scalability, lower operational costs, and freedom from vendor lock-ins. Emphasizing data sovereignty, all cloud controls will remain strictly within India, eliminating any external access risks.
In a parallel development, Xtelify also introduced a next-generation, AI-powered software platform designed specifically for global telecom operators. The platform addresses the full telecom value chain, offering a converged data engine for large-scale AI insights, a workforce management system for real-time field operations, and a comprehensive customer experience layer to manage the entire user journey.
Airtel’s digital platforms go global
To expand its international footprint, Xtelify has signed strategic partnerships with Singtel (Singapore), Globe Telecom (Philippines), and Airtel Africa. These partnerships mark a significant milestone in taking Airtel’s homegrown digital platforms global.
As part of the partnership with Singtel, Xtelify will deploy ‘Xtelify Work’, an enterprise-grade, plug-and-play platform enabling field teams to optimize fleet operations, automate task management, and enhance governance. The platform aims to boost efficiency and lower carbon emissions through smarter resource utilization.
In the Philippines, Globe Telecom will implement ‘Xtelify Serve’, an AI-powered customer services platform that enables omni-channel service assurance, streamlined workflows, and intelligent operations to elevate customer experience at scale.
Meanwhile, Airtel Africa will adopt Xtelify’s full suite, including Data Engine, Work, and IQ. These platforms will serve 150,000 field personnel across 14 countries, delivering actionable market insights and supporting critical use cases such as spam and fraud protection. Xtelify IQ will also enable secure, real-time omnichannel engagement to boost service quality and customer satisfaction.
Global telcos endorse Airtel innovation
Gopal Vittal, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Bharti Airtel, described the launch as a pivotal moment. “We are proud to take our world-class Airtel Cloud and software platforms beyond India to telcos worldwide. These innovations have powered over 590 million customer touchpoints within Airtel, enabling us to solve complex telecom challenges with agility and cost efficiency.”
Partner executives echoed similar optimism. Ng Tian Chong, CEO of Singtel Singapore, said the collaboration allows them to “reimagine workflows with AI at the core,” enhancing speed, accuracy, and governance. Carl Cruz, President and CEO of Globe Telecom, praised the partnership for enabling more empathetic and transparent customer experiences. Jacques Barkhuizen, CIO of Airtel Africa, welcomed Xtelify as a core technology partner that will help “enrich the lives of millions across Africa.”
With Airtel Cloud and its AI-driven software suite, Xtelify is positioning itself as a key enabler for telecom innovation and digital transformation across global markets.
