Microsoft India AI has partnered with RailTel on a five-year initiative to accelerate digital transformation across Indian Railways and the public sector. This collaboration includes establishing an AI Center of Excellence (CoE) to position RailTel as a leading AI-driven organization and systems integrator. As part of the AI National Skills Initiative and Enterprise Skilling Initiative, RailTel employees will undergo extensive training in digital, cloud, and AI technologies. Together, RailTel and Microsoft aim to co-develop AI-driven solutions with technical guidance on product roadmaps.

Over the next three years, the initiative aims to certify 1 million Indian STEM learners and professionals with foundational and advanced AI skills. Leveraging Microsoft 365 Copilot, GitHub Copilot, and Azure OpenAI Service, UpGrad will provide enriched learning experiences across India and South Asia.
