The South Gujarat Information Technologists Association (SITA) marked a significant milestone with the inauguration of its newly renovated office on March 23, 2025. The event was graced by Mr. Ashish Dhakan, MD & CEO of Prama Hikvision Private Limited, as the Chief Guest, alongside SITA President, Mr. Hemant Patel, who led the ceremony. The modernized facility reflects SITA’s commitment to fostering innovation and collaboration within the region’s IT sector.
Spanning 1,700 sq. ft., the renovated office is fully air-conditioned and boasts a state-of-the-art 1,100 sq. ft. conference room with cutting-edge digital amenities. The space features an interactive panel, smart TVs, a surround sound system, high-speed WiFi, and a dedicated product display area, ensuring a seamless experience for IT professionals. Designed to host conferences, training sessions, and networking events, the upgraded office sets a new benchmark for technological engagement in South Gujarat.

Established in 1996 in Nanpura, Surat, SITA has played a pivotal role in empowering IT professionals and businesses. The association actively organizes exhibitions, blood donation drives, technical webinars, training programs, and social gatherings to foster industry growth.
Expressing his enthusiasm, Mr. Hemant Patel stated, “This renovated facility is a testament to our dedication to the IT community. It will serve as a hub for learning, collaboration, and progress in the ever-evolving tech landscape.”

The event, hosted by Mr. Bashir Mansuri, concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Javed Nalbandh. Attended by industry leaders, association members, and IT professionals, the inauguration was widely lauded. The conference room is available for industry use at nominal charges, with a ₹5,000 plus GST fee for a 4-hour session (up to 50 participants) or an annual package of ₹30,000 plus GST for 10 sessions over two years. This initiative further reinforces SITA’s mission to empower South Gujarat’s IT ecosystem.
