Samsung Ranks No. 5 in Interbrand’s Best Global Brands for Seventh Straight Year

Samsung Electronics secures fifth spot in Interbrand’s Best Global Brands 2026 with a valuation of USD 105.2 billion, driven by record earnings, AI semiconductor leadership and expanding connected AI experiences across its devices.

Samsung Electronics has been ranked No. 5 globally, with a brand value of USD 105.2 billion, in Interbrand’s Best Global Brands 2026 report. This is the seventh consecutive year the company has featured among the world’s five most valuable brands. Samsung remains the only Asia-based company to hold a place in the global top five every year since 2020.

The ranking reflects the company’s sustained focus on technological innovation, AI competitiveness and customer-centric experiences. Its position has been supported by record earnings, strategic investments in AI semiconductors and the growth of connected AI experiences across its product portfolio.

What powered the ranking

Interbrand identified three key factors behind Samsung’s brand competitiveness:

·         Record earnings, supported by focused investments in AI semiconductors

·         Stronger AI competitiveness across the Device eXperience (DX) Division

·         A consistent, customer-centric brand strategy under the “One Samsung” approach

Samsung’s Device Solutions (DS) Division continued to expand its supply of high-value memory products to meet rising demand for AI technologies. The company also reinforced its semiconductor leadership with the industry’s first mass production and commercial shipment of HBM4.

AI and foldables drive consumer appeal

In the DX Division, Samsung kept bringing personalized AI experiences and seamless connectivity to consumers through its mobile devices, televisions and home appliances. These innovations are designed to make everyday experiences more convenient and connected.

Samsung also introduced the Galaxy Z Fold8 in 2026, the eighth generation of its Galaxy foldable series. The device features a new form factor and a 4:3 display aspect ratio. It resonated with younger consumers while widening its appeal across generations.

Interbrand’s annual Best Global Brands ranking assesses companies on their financial performance and outlook, the influence of their brands on purchasing decisions, and overall brand competitiveness. Its evaluation considers strategy, empathy, differentiation, customer engagement, consistency and trust.
