The acquisition brings over 400 AI specialists into Accenture, enhancing its ability to deliver safe, scalable AI solutions while accelerating enterprise transformation and strengthening its position in the global artificial intelligence landscape.
Accenture has completed the acquisition of Faculty, a prominent artificial intelligence firm known for its expertise in deploying AI safely across both public and private sectors. The move is aimed at strengthening Accenture’s capabilities in delivering advanced AI-driven business transformation.
As part of the deal, Faculty CEO and co-founder Dr. Marc Warner will take on an expanded role as Chief Technology Officer at Accenture and join the company’s Global Management Committee, marking a significant leadership addition.
“Now that Faculty is part of Accenture, we will further advance our strategy to be our clients’ reinvention partner of choice and lead in the safe, widespread adoption of AI," said Julie Sweet, Accenture Chair and CEO. “I look forward to working with our new CTO Marc Warner to shape our technology strategy and execution and attract the best talent in the world to meet our clients’ needs.”

Expanding AI talent and enterprise capabilities
The acquisition brings more than 400 AI professionals from Faculty into Accenture, including data scientists and AI engineers. This is expected to significantly enhance Accenture’s ability to help organizations modernize core operations using secure and outcome-driven AI solutions.
Founded in 2014, Faculty has built a strong reputation in Europe for its applied AI services, including AI strategy, safety frameworks, and the development of high-performance AI systems. Its team has delivered impactful solutions across industries, including building the UK National Health Service’s early warning system during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Driving scalable and safe AI adoption
Faculty’s enterprise decision intelligence platform, FrontierTM, will now integrate with Accenture’s suite of AI tools, enabling organizations to connect data, AI models, and business processes for faster and more informed decision-making. The two companies are already collaborating with global clients, including Novartis, to improve clinical trial planning and execution.
"As AI advances rapidly, the next few years will be hugely consequential for the world,” said Dr. Warner. “For any company that isn't AI-native, thriving will mean a difficult process of adaptation. To succeed, they need partners with an unusual set of capabilities: deep technical expertise, plus the ability to deliver transformation at scale. Together with Accenture, we have created one of the few organizations in the world equipped to lead this historical transition."
Accenture’s Chief Strategy and Services Officer Manish Sharma added, “By combining our AI capabilities with Faculty’s highly skilled AI talent and products like FrontierTM, we will help clients safely apply and scale AI to reinvent their operations—connecting data, processes, and people to drive faster value and increase competitiveness.”
