AKAI launches Soul series soundbars to redefine home entertainment in India

Japanese consumer electronics giant AKAI has launched its new Soul Series of soundbars in India, introducing three models—SB-100, SB-120 Pro, and SB-160—that blend performance, design, and affordability for modern households. Prices start at ₹5,990.

Designed to transform the home entertainment experience, the AKAI Soul Series promises immersive audio with deep bass, clear mids, and crisp highs. The series supports music, gaming, and movie playback with flexible connectivity options, making it ideal for Indian living rooms.

The entry-level SB-100 is a compact powerhouse featuring a 2.1 channel Class D amplifier, 100W RMS output, and a 5.25” subwoofer. It includes Bluetooth 5.0, HDMI (ARC), optical, USB, and AUX ports. With dual 2.25” drivers, EQ modes, LED display, and remote control, it caters to users seeking premium sound in a small form factor.

Stepping up the experience, the SB-120 Pro delivers 120W RMS output with the same driver-subwoofer configuration but offers a wider soundstage. Its sleek design (920 x 80 x 85 mm) suits larger rooms and includes all key connectivity features.

At the top end, the SB-160 targets audiophiles, packing a robust 160W RMS punch with a 6.5” subwoofer and four 2.25” drivers. It promises cinematic audio, ideal for gaming and home theatres.
