As per a recent update, a reading app has been developed by Amazon named Kindle Reading App which will help the Indian customers to get an access to over 1.7 million books across various genres. Users can also enjoy over 600,000 books priced at Rs.200 or less and over 1.2 million priced at Rs. 600 or less.
The app is available for Android phone or Tablet, iPad, iPhone, Mac, Windows 8 PC or Tablet, BlackBerry, or Windows Phone on the Amazon App Store. It can be downloaded free of cost on any smartphone, tablet or even a desktop computer. With Amazon’s Whispersync technology, users can automatically save and synchronize their furthest page read, bookmark, note and highlight across all their devices.
Some of the other interesting features that users can explore with Kindle Reading App include Sample Books Before Buying which will help the customers to read the first chapter of a book before they decide whether to buy it or not. The app also includes features to view page numbers, track progress of how much the book has been read and search inside any book to find a topic or section that the reader would like to revisit.
Customers can create a new Send-to-Kindle e-mail address and email PDFs and other documents with Read Personal Documents feature, which will be delivered to the readers’ device and also automatically archive them in the Amazon Cloud.
