If the buzz floating around is to be believed, Apple and Intel are secretly working on smart watches.
It is reportedly said that the new smart watches would be Bluetooth-enabled devices powered with iOS operating platform. The smart watches are also speculated to feature a 1.5-inch OLED display with indium tin oxide.
Market experts added that it would be a good time for tech companies to try their hand on smart watches as there's no proven market for smart watches yet. However, some users have previously used the sixth-generation iPod Nano as a watch, with third parties producing wristbands for the product.
Industry experts further added, Apple and Intel have to ensure consumers to recognize the daily value of these innovative watches.
Although there is no official word to backup the report, it is expected that the Bluetooth watch would debut sometime in the first half of 2013.
Let’s hope to see these smart watches by Apple and Intel soon in the market.
