Apple rolls out its 2026 product lineup, new foldable iPhone Duo steals the show

Apple unveiled the iPhone Duo, iPhone 18 Pro, AirPods 5 and new Apple Watches as part of its 2026 product lineup on Wednesday at its Surprise and Shine event, which also saw CEO John Ternus's debut. The event took place at Apple Park in Cupertino, California.

iPhone Duo

The star of the show, however, was the much speculated iPhone Duo, its foldable phone with a 7.6-inch inner display and a 5.4-inch outer screen when folded. Both screens share the same aspect ratio, allowing content to transition smoothly between the folded and unfolded states. The displays also support ProMotion, Always On functionality and up to 3,000 nits of peak outdoor brightness.

The phone uses Apple’s A20 Pro chip, a titanium design and a dual 48MP Fusion camera system. It also introduces foldable-specific iOS 27 features designed for multitasking, including using multiple apps and different screen orientations.

Apple has added a nano-texture finish to minimize glare and reflections while also reducing the visibility of the crease.

iPhone Duo pre-orders begin on October 16, with sales starting October 23. Its price starts at ₹2,99,900 in India for the 256GB model. 

iPhone 18 Pro & iPhone 18 Pro Max

For Apple fans in India, the iPhone 18 Pro starts at ₹1,64,900, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at ₹1,79,900. Both models are powered by Apple’s new A20 Pro chip and introduce major camera upgrades, including a 48MP Fusion Main camera with variable aperture. The Pro Max also gets Apple’s biggest battery-life improvement on an iPhone to date. Pre-orders for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max begin in India on September 12, with availability from September 18.

Apple Watches

Apple also refreshed its smartwatch lineup with the Apple Watch Series 12, which starts at ₹56,900 in India, and the Apple Watch Ultra 4, starting at ₹1,09,900. The Series 12 brings a new health-sensing system, high-frequency background heart-rate tracking, sleep and recovery features, and Apple Intelligence and Siri AI capabilities. The Ultra 4 gets a larger 49mm titanium design, up to 3,000 nits of brightness and up to 50 hours of battery life.

A redesigned Health app on iPhone also arrives later this year, including a new Longevity tab with a Health Age feature showing how metrics are tracking relative to a user’s age. In addition to powering the Health Sensing System, the S11 chip — Apple’s most powerful wearable chip — also enables new Audio Intelligence features arriving later this year, to help users remember key moments from their conversations and stay alert to important sounds, built with privacy, security, and accessibility innovations at the core.

Both watches are scheduled to become available from September 18.

AirPods 5

Apple’s audio lineup also received an update with AirPods 5. The new open-ear earbuds start at ₹14,900, while the AirPods 5 with Wireless Charging Case cost ₹17,900. Both versions now offer Active Noise Cancellation, while the wireless-charging version adds a charging case that supports Apple Watch and Qi charging. AirPods 5 also bring Live Translation, Siri AI, Adaptive Audio and improved sound quality.

They will be available from September 18.

Apple has also raised the prices on Macs and iPads over the summer as memory and storage costs soared.

Just hours before the company’s much-anticipated event, Apple’s online store was also found going offline.
