Apple these days is busy scheduling many new launches. After iPhone SE 4th generation with AI, Apple is now planning to introduce their 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air models powered by the M4 and the upgraded 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Air variants.
This shift also indicates that Apple is moving away from its traditional annual product upgrade cycle, which could lead to more frequent releases and smoother timelines. This approach has several advantages: it aligns employees toward a clear, unified goal, eliminating ambiguity around product deadlines. Additionally, analysts and investors benefit from a predictable release schedule, and Apple enjoys a reliable sales boost around the same time each year—especially during the crucial holiday quarter.
The market is full of reports that Apple is planning to announce several new M4 MacBooks by the end of October with some models being launched by November 1st.
If reports are to be believed, it will launch a new M4 version of its low-end 14-inch MacBook Pro and the higher-end 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro variants powered by the M4 Pro and M4 Max chips. The company is also upgrading their iPad mini for the first time since its redesigned version was launched in 2021, and will mostly release it in early November.
