Argox has announced its new AME-3230B Mobile Printer, which will begin mass delivery in August 2010. This lightweight, palm-sized printer is exceptionally portable, weighing only 670g with battery and 3" width OD 2.2" paper roll. The AME-3230B lets the user print labels or receipts anywhere he goes and quickly produces labels and receipts from 1-inch to 3-inches wide on demand. It is ideal for mobile printing applications such as for parking tickets, logistics or updating price tags on perishable items.
The AME-3230B features a 32-bit CPU for up to 3ips printing speed, 203dpi print resolution for text and graphics and 8M DRAM and 4M Flash ROM memory. The printer operates up to eight hours on one battery charge and offers smart power management and automatic low battery notification. Connection interfaces include Bluetooth, IrDA, USB, and RS-232. Barcode printing support includes 1D/GS1 Data bar, 2D/Composite codes and QR barcodes.
The AME-3230B will be available for order in August 2010.
