In India, users are increasingly embracing new technologies like smartphones, mobile broadband and tablets. Cheaper and more affordable tablets are ushering in a plethora of new users and while the tablet ecosystem is at a nascent stage, growing awareness and better technology is expected to increase the tablet usage in India by a whopping 107%* by 2017. These promising statistics give Concur a significant opportunity to expand its mobile application and TripIt user base in the Indian market in the next few years.
Christopher Juneau, Senior Director - Marketing, Concur Technologies said, "The ability to book an entire business trip, from air and rail to hotel and car - plus manage the resulting expenses - is now at the fingertips of nearly a million Concur users globally. Additionally, more than 1.5 million travellers rely on TripIt's mobile app to easily organize and share their travel plans from their smartphone. As Concur continues to innovate across our mobile offerings, business travellers and their companies are enjoying access to more and more services that enable them to save time and reduce costs."
