The Association of System Integrators and Retailers in Technology approved FY 2025-26 accounts, named Satish Bhanushali and Tejas Sangani to its board, then hosted a TechDay featuring Industry 4.0, data recovery and business strategy sessions.
The Association of System Integrators and Retailers in Technology (ASIRT) held its 14th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Hotel Parle International in Mumbai on September 23, followed by its flagship TechDay #140. The association said the day reflected its philosophy of "Partner, Progress, Evolve," with transparent governance, smooth board elections and knowledge sharing for members.
AGM Clears Accounts, Two Board Members Elected Unopposed
Members approved the minutes of the 13th AGM, held in September 2025, and heard the Chairman and President review the year's activities and achievements. They also approved the Treasurer's Report, the audited Balance Sheet and the Income and Expenditure account for FY 2025-26, and the appointment of auditors for FY 2026-27.
Returning Officer Ravi Bhavnani announced the results for the two vacant Board Member positions. After nomination and scrutiny, the number of valid candidates matched the number of vacancies. Satish Bhanushali of Intech Computers and Tejas Sangani of Axel Enterprises were therefore declared elected unopposed for a three-year term.
After retiring members were replaced and new co-opted members added, the board now has 11 members. Kaustubh Kulkarni continues as Chairman, Avinash Bankeraika as Secretary, Kartik Kaji as Treasurer and Rohan Shah as Joint Treasurer. Bhanushali joins as Joint Secretary. Chetan Shah, Hiren Kuvadia and Jignesh Joshi were also retained, while Askhay Choube and Ayul Morey join as co-opted members.

TechDay #140: Industry 4.0, Data Recovery and a Business Blueprint
Immediately after the AGM, ASIRT hosted TechDay #140 with sessions from partners and experts. Samit Upadhyay and Vijay Sabharwal of Aliter Business Solutions presented Industry 4.0 and IoT offerings that monitor energy use, equipment efficiency and facility safety in real time. Akshay "Bala" Choubey of Mumbai Data Recovery spoke about recovering data from SSDs, NVMe drives and CCTV systems, and highlighted his firm's zero-advance-payment policy and commitment to IT partners.
Bhanushali, the newly elected board member, addressed the market challenge of delayed customer purchase decisions. He advised partners to explain the "cost of delay" to customers through direct visits.
The keynote was delivered by TEDx speaker Dr. Vijay Bijlani, Founder Director of SAO Foods, on the theme "Business Blueprint." He took members through defining a core business, distinguishing customers from consumers and mastering authentic storytelling. Using corporate case studies, he argued that identifying and solving a core challenge is the hallmark of true entrepreneurship.
As at every TechDay, the evening closed with ASIRT's signature networking dinner, giving members a relaxed setting to build connections and exchange ideas. ASIRT describes itself as one of India's premier IT associations, dedicated to the success of system integrators and technology retailers. Its initiatives include TechDays, consortiums and Synergy Biz Conclaves.
