Homegrown brand boltt has entered India’s smartphone market with two new models, combining 120Hz displays, Google Gemini-powered features, Android 16, large batteries and AI-enabled cameras across affordable price segments.
boltt, the smartphone brand from the house of Fire-Boltt, has entered the Indian smartphone market with the launch of the Ace 5G and Evo. The company is targeting consumers looking for a combination of everyday performance, AI-enabled features, display capabilities and battery endurance at accessible price points.
Both smartphones feature a 6.79-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 600 nits of brightness. The combination is designed to provide smoother scrolling and responsive interactions while supporting entertainment, browsing and other content-consumption activities.
The two devices also integrate Google Gemini-powered features, including Circle to Search and Google Lens. These tools allow users to interact with information appearing on their screens, identify objects, translate text and conduct searches without leaving the activity they are engaged in.
Both models run Android 16 and are positioned with a clean software experience without unnecessary pre-installed applications. AI Night Mode is included for low-light photography, while the 8MP front-facing camera with Real Tone is designed to produce natural-looking selfies across different skin tones.
A 6000mAh battery powers both smartphones, while their 7.95mm slim profile is aimed at balancing battery capacity with everyday handling.

Our entry into the category is rooted in a simple belief: consumers should have access to the experiences they value without having to compromise on what matters to them. Ace 5G and Evo mark the beginning of our smartphone journey, and we look forward to bringing this approach to a much wider set of consumers across India.”
