A SaaS-based business intelligence enterprise tool, BrandIdea, has been recognized as the "Cool Vendor 2013" in India by Gartner. BrandIdea has gained this recognition for its role in developing relevant technologies globally.
Gartner reports that BrandIdea's offerings can play an important role in gaining market share as it is currently engaged with over 16 CPG companies, six of which being the top FMCG brands in India.
Suresh Pillai, CEO, BrandIdea, said, "The often-abused assumption that the macro-level pattern will hold true at the last mile - does not take into account the disparity of patterns, especially so in diverse Asian economies. BrandIdea’s Granular Analytical framework, with its spatial and data visualization technology, allows marketers to fine-tune their analysis and consequent deliverables at every level. Four years of rigorous, big data modelling and geomatics technology have helped us create this unique platform. We are delighted that our efforts and work have been recognized in the analytics space by Gartner and being titled as the 'Cool Vendor'."
The Gartner report also highlights that the company has built an industry analytical service of 400 sourced data sets and by using modern statistical modelling techniques it has been able to create missing data sets that can be used by marketers for activities like market reach improvement, rural expansion, and distribution management by integrating it with the company’s internal primary and secondary sales data.
