Canon’s first Digital Single Lens non-reflex camera, EOS M. The all new EOS M cumulate the fruits of Canon’s EOS technology to create a revolutionary interchangeable lens camera in a compact form factor. The camera has a 3-inch touchscreen with support for multi-touch gestures such as pinch to zoom, swiping and tapping. The camera uses an 18 megapixel APS-C sensor and a DIGIC 5 processor. EOS M size and weight are dramatically reduced by replacing D-SLR camera’s viewfinder / AF / AE / light-control functions with digital functions based on imaging elements. Existing EF & EF-S lenses (via Mount Adapter EF-EOS M) and EOS accessories can be used. Existing Speedlites, GPS receiver GP-E2 and Remote controller RC-6 can be used. Continuous auto-focus during movie recording is possible with all lenses. With STM lenses that are geared for movie shooting, users enjoy smooth, speedy quiet Servo AF on EOS M during movie shooting. The EOS M Digital Camera leverages these key technologies to deliver high-quality moving and still images with creativity provided by Canon's extensive family of interchangeable lenses.
