Capgemini has announced that its integrated solutions system has gone live at Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Limited (GMDC).
The solution will assist the 1,000+ employees of GMDC across 12 locations in Gujarat, including the mines operated by the Company. The Capgemini India Local Business Services team led the integration of GMDC's businesses by leveraging its process management and RAPIDX methodology. The integrated system is based on the Oracle e-business suite. The Capgemini team worked collaboratively with the end-user community at GMDC by conducting workshops to gauge business requirements. This helped to propose and implement a solution that was in tune with business needs.
