Capgemini Spain S.L., part of the Capgemini Group has announced it has been awarded the Oracle Excellence Award for Specialized Partner of the Year - Global in the Oracle on Oracle category at Oracle OpenWorld in San Francisco.
The Oracle Excellence Awards for Specialized Partner of the Year - Global recognize customers and partners that have driven business value together with Oracle in six different award categories including database, middleware, applications, industry, server and storage systems and Oracle-on- Oracle solutions. The nominees are judged by a renowned team of IDC executives and analysts.
Capgemini won the Oracle on Oracle category in recognition of its solution innovation and a track record for delivering customer value, simplifying IT and providing cost savings. In particular, the award highlights Capgemini's work on an IT transformation project with Azkar, a Spanish leading company in transportation and distribution logistics. As part of the project, Capgemini provides a range of services including hardware, software, administration, and monitoring.
