ClubHack is a non-profit initiative for knowledge sharing in the domain of information security. As part of their commitment to spread awareness in common mind about basic cyber security as well as impart high end knowledge to skilled community of users, they are organizing their annual convention. Started in Dec 2007, the event is currently in its 4th year.
Now also known as "Defcon" of India, ClubHack2010 would focus on Cloud & Telecom Security. Total 12 briefings on 4th & 5th Dec 2010 would cover topics like, Telecom Security, Cloud security, Forensics, mobile application security and Malware analysis.
Their would be around four workshops on 6thDec on Cloud Forensic & Investigation, Mobile Application Security, Advance attack methods & mitigation with Metasploit.
The topic of Panel Discussion would be Security Concerns on procurement of core telecom equipments, Amendment of License for Escrow accountsetup -Practical solution? : Its impact on quality of supplies, telecom growth & National Security and TSP-Vendor Agreement penalty: A fair proposition?
The Guest list includes names like, Bruce Schneier-the "security guru" of the world, Raoul Chiesa -Senior Advisor of UNICRI (United Nations Crime and Justice Research Institute). The event would act as the Knowledge sharing platform.
