NVIDIA is expanding its DLSS 5 technology with 3D-Guided Neural Rendering to three major games this November: Hogwarts Legacy, War Thunder and Where Winds Meet. The technology promises enhanced lighting, realistic materials and improved visual fidelity.
Powered by a reportedly twice-as-fast AI model optimised for GeForce RTX 50 Series and RTX Spark devices, DLSS 5 represents another advancement in AI-assisted graphics rendering, combining improved image quality with accelerated gaming performance.
Hogwarts Legacy receives DLSS 5 support on November 5, introducing refined shadows, realistic reflections and enhanced environmental textures. NVIDIA claims the GeForce RTX 5090 can deliver up to 300 FPS at 4K under specified settings.
War Thunder will integrate DLSS 5 through its mid-November Eagle's Shadow update. Enhanced highlights, shadows and material details aim to improve battlefield realism, with NVIDIA reporting up to 400 FPS at 4K in its benchmark.
Where Winds Meet, developed by Everstone Studio, receives DLSS 5 support on November 23 in North America and November 24 globally. The update aims to enrich its open-world environments and character rendering.
Meanwhile, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, GRAVHOUNDS, Hunting Simulator 3 and Phantom Blade Zero are expanding support for DLSS Super Resolution, Dynamic Multi Frame Generation, Ray Reconstruction and NVIDIA Reflex, improving responsiveness and graphical performance.
Industry Analysis: NVIDIA's strategy signals a shift from traditional graphics processing toward AI-driven visual reconstruction. However, hardware compatibility, latency, image consistency and independent performance validation will determine whether neural rendering delivers meaningful advantages beyond benchmark figures and promotional demonstrations.
