The CMDA, Delhi, in collaboration with Luthra & Luthra Law Offices India, recently hosted an insightful event titled "Understanding & Complying with Indian Competition Law." The event, held at Anand Niketan Club, New Delhi, and live-streamed online, attracted participation from CMDA members and media professionals. Puneet Singhal, President of CMDA-Delhi, and Manoj Khanna, Secretary of CMDA-Delhi, opened the session with remarks emphasizing the critical role of competition law in fostering fair and thriving market dynamics. They highlighted the importance of compliance to avoid legal complications and ensure ethical business practices.
The seminar featured presentations from two distinguished speakers, Gurdev Raj Bhatia, Partner and Head of the Competition Law Practice, and Arjun Nihal Singh, Partner at Luthra & Luthra Law Offices India. Both speakers brought extensive expertise to the session, offering practical insights into the complexities of Indian competition law.
Bhatia provided a comprehensive overview of competition law, covering its structure, powers, policies, and objectives.
