Deepwatch has expanded its global footprint with the launch of a new Global Capability Center (GCC) in Bengaluru, marking a strategic move to speed up platform development and enhance its AI-powered managed detection and response (MDR) services. The company said the new center will serve as a major development hub, tapping India’s deep engineering talent pool to strengthen security capabilities for customers worldwide.
Positioned as a core engine for innovation, the Bengaluru GCC will focus on advancing Deepwatch’s AI-driven threat detection platform while supporting continuous, around-the-clock development cycles. The company said this globalized model will allow it to deliver product enhancements and new capabilities at a faster pace without compromising the personalized service that has become its hallmark.
“This expansion represents a fundamental shift in how we approach innovation—we’re not just opening an office, we’re creating a global development engine that keeps our customers ahead of evolving threats,” said John DiLullo, Chief Executive Officer at Deepwatch. He added that India’s strength in cybersecurity, AI and enterprise software positions the company to scale development while maintaining the precision and responsiveness customers expect.
Deepwatch plans to scale the Bengaluru team to more than 100 professionals within the next 18 months, with immediate hiring underway across engineering, AI research and product development roles. The company said the GCC leverages India’s large pool of skilled cybersecurity and SaaS engineers to accelerate its technology roadmap.
According to Prasad Channabasappa, Managing Director, India at Deepwatch, the new center will significantly increase development velocity. “Our customers will see faster rollout of new threat detection capabilities, enhanced AI models and platform improvements—all while receiving the same personalized support they’ve come to expect,” he said.
The GCC will anchor Deepwatch’s efforts in three priority areas: next-generation AI development aimed at automating threat detection and response; platform engineering to support the company’s growing global customer base; and product innovation focused on emerging needs such as threat exposure management.
The modern facility includes collaborative workspaces designed to connect seamlessly with the company’s teams in North America, creating a unified environment for cross-regional engineering and service delivery. This distributed development model ensures that customers benefit from localized innovation while retaining consistent support across geographies.
Deepwatch said the expansion aligns with rising enterprise demand for precision MDR solutions built to integrate with customers’ existing technology stacks. Beyond strengthening its product and engineering capabilities, the new GCC positions the company for broader global growth, with additional international expansions under evaluation.
