DIGISOL has introduced its Wireless Access Point DG-WA3002NP. It is an advance ceiling mounted wireless Access Point based on IEEE 802.11n standard and is backward compatible with IEEE 802.11b/g standard. It can provide wireless data transmission rate up to 300Mbps, which enhances the sharing of files, photo, audio, video and gaming experience over wireless network. This product supports PoE, which helps in easy installation by eliminating the need of a dedicated power source for the Access Point.
The WDS (Wireless Distributed System) function allows this product to act as an Access Point and wireless repeater at the same time. This feature is useful when users want to bridge networks between buildings, where it is not possible to deploy any wired connections. This feature is useful typically in sites like airports, hotels and schools, etc.
DG-WA3002NP supports WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) function, it simplifies the procedure to set up a secured wireless network. By pressing a WPS button on the unit, the product can wirelessly associate it with another WPS-enabled network device securely.
It has a robust WLAN security to protect sensitive data from hackers and also maintain confidentially of the Wireless Network. This is achieved by using security protocols ranging from 64/128 bit WEP encryption (first level of Security) to WPA2 Enterprise (highest level).
