Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) has announced that its entire series of motherboards will now be available with the anti-static (ESD) protection from the year 2011.
All ECS motherboards, having passed the ESD test, will prevent your computers from electrostatic discharge damage to enhance its durability and lifespan.
Static electricity is everywhere, happening with every object contacts. It may occur more often in dry environment. Even though static electricity is a common natural response, it would lead to damage of your computer while sudden electrons flow within the motherboards, especially when users plug in VGA or DVI monitor/USB devices/LAN connector and so on.
Since static electricity is a silent PC killer, ECS has taken this step to protect and improve user experience. This makes ECS motherboards four times safer than ever from static electricity. Users do not have to worry about their motherboard being attacked by invisible static electricity when plugging in any external devices.
Commenting on this innovative step, Karan Khemka, Product Manager – ECS, Rashi Peripherals, said, “Prevention is always better than cure. We welcome this innovation from ECS which works on improving the overall user experience while providing protection against the unknown static factor affecting our computer hardware. We are sure partners would also take this move from ECS very positively.”
Starting from this year, the entire range of ECS motherboard imported and sold through Rashi Peripherals will now have ESD protection and will be available through all Rashi branches.
