EDIMAX Technology has released the 3G-6200nL V2 wireless 3G routers, the next step in the evolution of compact 3G routers. The 3G-6200nL V2 supports both 3G/3.75G and cable/xDSL modems, and is capable of sharing a 3G/3.75G or cable/xDSL connection with multiple devices.
It is equipped with both a USB port and an Ethernet WAN port. With both types of connections users will enjoy the 3G-6200nL V2's fail-over feature, which allows the router to automatically switch to the cable/xDSL connection when 3G/3.75G internet connectivity is not available.
The Edimax 3G-6200nL V2 supports Internet tethering with an iPhone. Users can share an iPhone's Internet connection by enabling the Internet tethering feature on the iPhone and connecting it to the 3G-6200nL V2's USB port.
The Edimax 3G-6200nL V2 comes with a hardware Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) button. This allows even inexperienced users to enjoy simple, push-button device connection. Simply push the WPS button on this router and on a client device, and users can establish a secure Wi-Fi connection between the two devices instantly.
