The two-day strategic platform brought together vendors, leadership teams and ecosystem stakeholders to discuss AI adoption, operational agility, partner collaboration and future-ready distribution strategies amid India’s rapidly evolving technology market landscape.
Elcom Digital hosted the latest edition of its annual strategic platform, Synergy 2026, bringing together vendors, business leaders, technology partners and internal teams to discuss the evolving dynamics of India’s technology distribution ecosystem.
Held on May 8 and 9 at Indana Palace in Jaipur, the event was organised under the theme “Momentum: The Future in Motion” and focused on accelerating collaboration, strengthening operational alignment and preparing stakeholders for the next phase of growth in the distribution and channel industry.
The company positioned Synergy 2026 as a convergence platform designed to move beyond conventional business reviews and enable deeper engagement across leadership, vendors and ecosystem stakeholders. Discussions throughout the event revolved around market trends, AI-led transformation, operational agility and execution-focused growth strategies.
The event was structured around two thematic segments — “The Homecoming” and “The Battlefield” — symbolising reflection on business performance and readiness for future market opportunities.
Focus on market strategy and operational alignment
The opening sessions centred on reviewing the company’s business performance, ecosystem expansion and operational milestones achieved over the past year. Leadership teams also discussed changing customer behaviour, regional market opportunities and the increasing need for faster execution within a highly competitive technology landscape.
Senior executives highlighted the growing importance of ecosystem synchronisation in a market increasingly influenced by shifting demand cycles, cloud adoption, AI-driven business models and evolving channel expectations.
Operational efficiency emerged as another key area of discussion during multiple strategy panels focused on supply chain responsiveness, partner enablement and execution agility. Participants also examined how technology distributors are gradually evolving into ecosystem coordinators that connect vendors, partners and customers through integrated business models.
Industry leaders attending the event noted that the Indian IT distribution sector is undergoing structural changes as enterprises accelerate investments in cloud, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and digital transformation initiatives.
AI and sales transformation take centre stage
Artificial Intelligence was one of the dominant themes throughout Synergy 2026. Dedicated AI-focused sessions explored the growing role of AI in sales enablement, business intelligence, customer engagement and workflow automation.
The AI Masterclass was conducted by Joyce Ray, who discussed practical applications of AI across modern enterprises and the increasing influence of AI-driven decision-making on operational efficiency and customer experience strategies.
The event also included a sales excellence session focused on competitive selling, customer-centric engagement frameworks and execution discipline in a rapidly changing technology market.
Leadership development and organizational accountability were also discussed through dedicated sessions aimed at building stronger ownership-driven execution models across teams and partner ecosystems.
Vendor partnerships and ecosystem expansion
Vendor collaboration remained a major focus area during the event through networking sessions, technology showcases and strategic business discussions involving participating brands and ecosystem partners.
Several vendors used the platform to present their technology roadmaps, product strategies and future growth plans while engaging directly with leadership teams and stakeholders.
A key highlight of the event was the signing of Memorandums of Understanding between Elcom Digital and multiple technology partners, including Matisoft Labs, Vtiger CRM, GyFTR and TSplus.
The company said these collaborations are intended to strengthen partner engagement and create additional value across the distribution ecosystem.
Another major announcement during the event involved a new product initiative alongside the unveiling of the company’s “365 Video” presentation, reflecting its increasing focus on innovation-led engagement and ecosystem communication.
As India’s technology distribution landscape continues to evolve, Synergy 2026 highlighted the growing importance of collaboration-driven, AI-enabled and execution-focused business models in shaping the future of the channel ecosystem.
Leadership perspectives
Synergy 2026 reflects Elcom Digital’s vision for AI and ecosystem expansion
Sagar Narang, CEO, Elcom Digital
“Synergy 2026 has been much bigger this year, and the theme ‘Momentum: The Future in Motion’ reflects how the industry, the AI wave and hardware shortages are shaping the road ahead. With innovation moving at such speed, it is important for us as a company to find direction. AI is not the future anymore, AI is actually the present, and we are already selling AI, creating AI and using AI in everything we do. As a distribution house, Elcom is nothing without its partner ecosystem, which remains central to our growth vision. Going forward, our focus will be on strengthening distribution, expanding SaaS offerings and building our own products.”
Synergy has evolved into a wider industry and vendor engagement platform
Sunil Narang, Director, Elcom Trading
“Synergy has evolved significantly over the years, and the 2026 edition reflects that growth. The first edition was held in Noida mainly to connect with people working from off-site locations, but as our region expanded across North and East India for Tally, it became an annual event bringing together sales and operations teams from Bikaner to Bhubaneswar. Over time, the platform evolved from being purely internal to including vendors, presentations, press interactions and new sign-ups. As the market has shifted from pure hardware to solution selling, Elcom Digital is focusing on cloud, AI, backup and storage solutions, while Elcom Trading continues core hardware distribution.”
Elcom digital is evolving beyond hardware into complete solutions
Somesh Narang, Director, Elcom Trading
“Synergy 2026 has been different from the earlier editions because this time the focus was not only on numbers, but also on how we can grow together. Over the last three years, Synergy has evolved continuously, and this year we wanted to train our leaders so they can build strong teams and go to the market with high energy. Partner collaboration remains very important for us, and today we are working with around 5,000 partners across the country to achieve our targets. We also wanted to communicate our long-term vision to vendors and showcase our team strength. Going forward, our focus is to become a value-added partner delivering complete hardware and software solutions through Elcom Digital.”
