element14 (formerly Farnell) will present at Automation 2012 some of the latest products for applications in medical, robotics and industrial automation;  specialty products like the Freescale Freedom development platform and the Raspberry Pi, and the newly updated version of the online knowledge tool, the Knode, and the PCB software Cadsoft EAGLE, during 7-10 September 2012 in Mumbai.

The Raspberry Pi will also be displayed and visitors will be able to have hands-on experience on what this small computer can deliver. Visitors can also look forward to a broad electromechanical and electronic portfolio from TE Connectivity, such as solutions for simple machinery equipment to fully integrated factory automation and process requirements. TE Connectivity provides connectivity options for signal, power, data and logic control for use in operating environments ranging from office to light and even heavy industrial applications.

element14 will also be showcasing XP Power’s latest ECS family of ultra compact single output industrial and medical AC-DC power supplies at Automation 2012. Featuring a no-load power of less than 0.5W, this highly efficient convection cooled unit helps customer’s end-product comply with internationally recognized energy-efficiency standards.

“This popular automation and industrial electronic show gives us the perfect opportunity to present our newest products and solutions which can help engineers improve their design processes and reduce their time-to-market. Our technology experts will also give demos and share their experiences with visitors to our booth,” says Ravi Pagar, Regional Director – South Asia  element14 Asia Pacific.
