Mformation Technologies and Elitecore Technologies Ltd have announced the successful completion of interoperability testing (IOT) of Elitecore's EliteAAA with Mformation's OMA DM-based advanced device management server. Testing of Mformation's device management server and Elitecore products was based on the WiMAX Forum's NWG (Network Working Group) specification.
"With a growing number of devices requiring authentication in the mobile WiMAX ecosystem, the Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting (AAA) function plays a central role in the WiMAX network for device authentication & subscriber management." said Dhaval Vora, AVP Telecom Solutions Group, Elitecore Technologies.
Interoperability testing between EliteAAA and Mformation's device management server included the successful execution of a wide range of test cases, including online/offline device activation, multiple devices under one subscription, change of subscription information, replacement of device, addition to blacklist, batch provisioning via UI and firmware update.
