Epson has made setting up high-quality 3D home theatres more affordable with the new Epson EH-TW5200 projector. The projector features full HD (1020P) resolution, and the same 480 hertz 3D drive that makes it among Epson’s active 3D projectors. Other key features of the EH-TW 5200 include a horizontal keystone adjustment slider that lets users correct keystone distortions conveniently and quickly, as well as its HDMI’s MHL (Mobile High Definition Link) support that can mirror the displays of attached MHL compliant devices.
Active 3D projectors like the EH-TW5200 work by alternately displaying images with a slightly different perspective to each eye by synchronizing with a pair of active 3D glasses to rapidly black out one eye while showing the other its respective image.
The Epson EH-TW5200 supports MHL (Mobile High Definition Link), which is an industry standard interface standard that allows consumers to connect devices like mobile phones and tablets via a HDMI cable to the projector for their screens to be projected.
It can accommodate an optional Epson Wi-Fi adapter (ELPAP07) that allows owners to use Epson’s iProjection app to wirelessly transmit content from Apple iOS or Google Android devices for projection.
EH-TW5200 is also 65% smaller in volume. As per the company, these dimensions make this projector as Epson’s smallest 3D projector model.
The Epson EH-TW5200 is available for a recommended price of Rs.98,699/-.
