Ericsson India, VGSOM-IIT, KHARAGPUR conduct Mgmt Workshop

Taking a giant leap towards nurturing telecom talent for India’s next telecom revolution, Ericsson today introduced the first of its kind Telecom Management Workshop, in partnership with IIT Kharagpur’s - Vinod Gupta School of Management – a premier MBA institute. The Workshop is an extension of Ericsson’s Excel program famous for engineering based telecom studies.

 Prof K K Guin, Dean, Vinod Gupta School of Management (VGSOM) – IIT Kharagpur said, “We are excited to partner with a global telecom leader like Ericsson. This partnership will help us in imparting quality education on the latest telecom technologies and related management skills.”

 The four day certification curriculum includes General Management, Project Management, Business Analysis, and Business Consulting with a focus on IT Managed services, showcasing Ericsson’s global thought leadership and over 100 years of presence in the Indian telecom market. The course may eventually develop into a full-fledged elective in premier MBA colleges across the country.
