Foulger Exits Zetwerk Electronics
Josh Foulger, president of the electronics division at Zetwerk, has stepped down, according to people familiar with the matter. The departure is understood to be driven by personal reasons, with Foulger planning a move back to Chennai.
Foulger joined the manufacturing unicorn about two years ago to build and scale its consumer and electronics production business. Before that, he served as India country head and managing director at Bharat FIH, where he played a pivotal role in developing large-scale partnerships with global device brands.
In a statement, a Zetwerk spokesperson acknowledged his role in shaping the vertical through its formative and expansion years and thanked him for his contribution.
The company has begun evaluating leadership talent from major industrial and technology firms, including Siemens and Schneide
Founded in 2021 as part of Zetwerk’s broader contract manufacturing platform, the electronics arm has been expanding its domestic footprint. Over the weekend, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw inaugurated a new facility in Bengaluru aimed at aerospace, defence, and automotive production. The plant is expected to generate more than 1,200 jobs at full capacity.
Zetwerk is also preparing for a potential public listing, with reports suggesting an IPO plan in the ₹6,000–6,500 crore range.
